The founder

Eleven years
in IT. Then
one harvest.

I came for an internship that fell through, stayed as a volunteer, bought grapes I had no winery for, and made them in somebody else's cellar. I still don't know if that was a plan.

Every bottle carries a code.

It doesn't lead here. It opens a page that belongs to that wine — the question it asks, what the place was doing that season, and the answers other people have already left.

I don't answer back. The moment a bottle is opened the wine stops being mine; what it means after that belongs to whoever is drinking it. Over enough vintages the answers become the archive, and the archive becomes the more interesting half of the project.
